This is a Hatcher, not an incubator!
What is the Difference Between an Incubator and a Hatcher?
An incubator is designed for the entire incubation process. From day 0 to 18, you use the incubator with rollers to turn the eggs. On day 18, you remove the rollers, allowing the eggs to lay flat on the bottom, and the incubator then functions as a hatcher for the final days until the chicks hatch.
A hatcher, on the other hand, is specifically for the last 3 days of the incubation process and cannot roll the eggs. You will still need an incubator to turn the eggs during the first 18 days.
If you're new to hatching, it's best to start with just an incubator. This allows you to complete the full hatching cycle in one machine. After gaining experience, you can consider adding a hatcher, especially if you plan to stagger hatches weekly. However, starting with just an incubator is simpler and more straightforward.
